Today was definitely not the perfect weather to wear this outfit but I wore it anyways. I always go for what I'm really into wearing what I feel in the moment no matter what the weather is. I went to a party on saturday and this is what I wore. These flats were originally given to my sister from her friend, but my sister cant wear them since they're big on her. So yesterday I decided to wear them with her permission ofcourse. I decided to wear this blue jeans with black and white combo. Its simple but with a pop of color, it adds life to an outfit. Happy New Year to all! 2012 is finally here. New year, new start and Im excited to begin another chapter of my life. I hope you all had a wonderful New Years with your love ones. This is what I wore today for New Years day. After going out for a couple hours, I stayed home and watched alot of tv with this super comfortable blouse. Its a great find from the thrift store, super comfortable and soft. Gosh, I just love it. Now that the holidays are done I wanted to take these photos by the Christmas tree before the tree gets thrown away and all the Christmas decorations be put away. Im gonna miss this and wait for another year again. Happy New Years everyone! Its been an amazing 2011, with all the ups and downs. So many experiences has occured and many lessons learned.

Its crazy how tomorrow will be the last day of 2011. 2012 is just a day away and before the year ends, I want to share these photos of what I wore the last 2 days. Since winter break came, Ive been wearing the same jeans everytime I go out. Its almost like a uniform I always have to wear. I woke up this morning and literally didnt know what to wear. My room right now literally has clothes thrown everywhere. Usually from the time I stand up and look at my closet, I know exactly what to wear. But I dont know about today, I was just clueless. I probably tried on 5 different outfits that I ended up wearing a black tank top with a brown suede blazer and the same jeans I have been wering for the whole week with the shoes I always run to when I just dont know what else to wear. Im thankful for the basics that I can always count on when Im just clueless. Also, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas with all your love ones and a early Happy New Year to all!:)

Malibu Cruisin

My family and I went to the Getty Museum in Malibu after a doctors appointment since we had nothing to do after. It was unplanned but sometimes unplanned things tends to be more fun, more of adventerous. It was my first time going to the Getty Museum in Malibu and its beautiful. Walking with the beautiful surrounding was fun. Its very romantic, that works since the buildings are Roman. If you live in California or going to visit California, deffinitely put the Getty Museum in your list. Its for free and all you have to do is reserve your tickets through phone or online and pay for a $15 parking ticket, then your set for a beautiful experience.:)

After the museum, my family and I decided to stop over Malibu beach which is literally next to the museum. It was a beautiful day despite the cold weather, but once again its very romantic.

Winter Break

Finally! Its winter break. I wore this outfit on the last day of school before winter break on friday. I am inlove with this Monari blazer that my mom has given my sister that my sister let me borrow. Its from London when my moms sister came to California 4 years ago for a visit. Back then I remember I couldnt wear this blazer because it was so big on me, but after waiting it out on a couple years it fits me perfectly. Too bad its not mine but atleast I get to borrow it from my sister once in a while:) I wore this blazer to school two days in a row since I just couldnt let it go. Im in love! So, this is what I wore to our holiday party for Fashion Club. My sweater was filled with compliments. Its a great find I got at a thirft store in Hollywood. Its amazing and perfect for the cold weather. The party went as planned and everyone enjoyed it, hard work pays off. Wheww! Also the guys that you see in the background are some of the marching band practicing. This is the first time ever that I posted an outfit picture taken at my highschool. So enjoy!:)

I wore this to school today. My brother gave me this flannel since it was small on him. Its incredibly soft and comfortable. My friend told me I looked tough with my wardrobe. Haha, all I said was "Thats the look Im going for."

Its finals week and my days has been hectic. Ive been planning out a holiday party for my schools fashion club and putting everything together is quite stressful. The party is tomorrow and hopefully everything turns out well:).

This is the first time I ever went on our rooftop at my house. I came home after school and couldnt find a place to take a picture of my outfit since no one was able to take photos of me. I was having a hard time looking for a great lighthing that while I was in our backyard, I decided why not take it on the rooftop and it was a success! I really liked the lighting and wallah!

I dont know if you can tell but on my jeans, I have like a dust mark and it must have come from when I was trying to get up on the roof. I just noticed as I was editing these photos. Today was also the first day I went to school since I have been sick for the last two days. I was throwing up and my stomach has been just horrible but Im all good now! :)

Now that a week of Thanksgiving break is over, back to the normal life of school for a couple more weeks before winter break. This week, I had an amazing Thanksgiving with my family. I wore this outfit today to mass with my family. My brother was in shock how high waist my jeans are. My brother and my dad both asked me if these jeans are my moms. Let me just start this post by saying how much I love this Eddie Bauer sweater, I love it lots! Its amazingly soft, comfortable, and warm. I was browsing through my moms closet last night and she ended up giving me clothes that were too small for her. And this sweater was one of them. I wore the sweater to school today and it was perfect for the chilly day at school. I had a friend who kept touching my arm because the fabric was just incredibly soft. I was definitely comfortable and warm today. :)

Happy Halloween! I hope everyone had an amazing and safe night Trick or Treating or handing out candies. This is the first year in a long time I actually went out and Trick or Treated. It was fun and I felt like a littile kid getting candies from house to house, brings so much memories when I was younger. My costume this year is Native American or Pochontas inspired. I didnt want to buy the costume that cost so much so I ended up browsing through my closet and went with what I had. I had so much fun putting the whole outfit on and I felt like Pochontas. I apologize for my absence. Summer has been I dont know, a drag. The unbearable heat leads me to not wanting to do anything. I have two weeks left before my summer vacation ends, now all I have is to make the most of it.

I spent my fourth of July weekend with my family and family friends over at Sacramento. We spent a day at the beautiful Lake Tahoe on a perfect summer weather. Ive been doing nothing but swimming and just enjoying all the times I can in the water all this summer. Ive gotten alot not tanner, but darker. So I made this skirt on saturday night in plan to wear it on Father's Day, which I did. But after having lunch with my family, I had to go back home and change because the skirt ripped in the middle. It wasnt that big but I was just not gonna cover it with my hand all day. So I went back home and changed into some cutoff shorts and a tank top. It was super hot that day that I couldnt wear the sweater anymore. I was pretty annoyed with my skirt ripping but whatever, it happens right?

I found these yellow mustard shorts at a thrift store at Las Vegas. I wasnt sure about it at first but I went and tried it on and fell inlove with it. I love the color and I love the way it fits. Its my second time wearing these shorts and I've been getting many compliments about them. Its light so I will definitely be wearing these more especially in the hot, hot weather.

You cant tell but the blouse is actually a bit see through.

Hey guys! Im back. So here are the photos from my trip to Nevada and Arizona. The top photos are from Hoover Dam and the bottom ones are from Lake Mead. As you can see, Im wearing the same outfits because these were taken on the same day. My family and I first went to Lake Mead and then to Hoover Dam which are literally next to each other. The weather was hot, perfect for a day start at the lake. I had a great time, definitely a nice way to start summer vacation.

So, this is what I wore to school today. The weather was warm and sunny, which was perfect. Two more days of school left and I am beyond happy! The blouse Im wearing is from Goodwill. I love the print and the cut of the blouse. This blouse is actually self made by the person that has donated it. The back of the blouse shows that its from Joann's, fabric store that I actually get alot of my fabrics from. I love this blouse even more now that I know its self made and definitely no one would have the same blouse.

Last thursday I turned 17 and honestly, I dont want to be 17 yet. I feel like a year of being 16 went way too fast. Time really does fly by. I have 8 more days of school left before summer vacation. Super stoked about that, especially the fact that my parents are taking my sister and I on a vacation on the week of the last day of school regarding for our late birthday celebration. YAY!

They say good things come when its least expected. And this least expected that has come to my life is a good one. And its a boy. Lets say someone who has made me happy through all the sweet text messages his sent me. We had our first date about two weeks ago and it was great. Were just dating, getting to know each other and just having fun. The slow things go, the better.
I just got my hair shorter yesterday. I was not planning at all to getting it shorter, but its getting really long that I decided to get it cut. I didn't really expect it to be this short, but I guess its a little change I can have before turning 17 on Thursday. AHHH!

How it is to live in the USA? I guess the same as living anywhere else. I live in California and Im grateful for the great weather.

In which city do you live? I live in this city that's known as the dessert.

Have you ever been in New York or L.A.? I have never been to New York but its where I want to live in the future. Yes, Ive been to L.A. many times. Its about an hour ani half from where I live without traffic.

How many nail polishes do you have? Lets just say too many to count, :)

Why the name of the blog? I choose Loadsofashion for my blog name because this blog contains loads of fashion. It was the name that randomly fell on my head.:)

Whats your dream job/career? I remember I wanted to be a lawyer, then a doctor, then when I was eight years old, I wanted to be a fashion designer. And till this day I want to be a fashion designer. Thats my dream job.

I had a pretty good day today compare to these past few days. It was windy and cold today that I pretty much froze at school. Anyways, Im wearing the blue shirt that was originally my dads that I took since it was just hanging around and he never wore it. Last time I wore this was last year as a dress. Today I thought why not and tuck it in? It works despite that it was a bit bulky at the back but, it worked fine. And the paper bag Im carrying? Chipotle! After school, my friends and I decided to get something to eat and we got Chipotle! Thanks to my friend for paying for my burrito since I didnt have money with me. Thanks Rob!

So this is what I wore to the FIDM Fashion Show I recently went to. The dress is self-made. I didnt know what I wanted to wear or create. So I just bought this fabric and started sewing on my sewing machine and took it from there. And tadaa! This is what I ended up with. Its rather simple but I love it.

Last day of Spring Break

Today was officially the last day of my spring break(sigh). No more waking up late, and just lounging around the house all day watching TV and baking cookies. Oh well, all things have an end. Since the weather has been pretty cold this whole week, it didnt feel like spring at all. Talk about non stop rain and wind all week. So for today, I just wore something that is easily thrown on. I love how the denim jacket Im wearing is long enough that I can wear it as a dress.
Anyways, this is what I wore today shopping with my mom, my sister, and my brother. I didn't buy anything, just looking at the prices on clothing is pretty overwhelming. I don't really like to spend on things that are first of all not worth the price been and things I'm not really sure about. I really would rather shop in thrift stores and find treasures. But I haven't gone thrifting in such a long time, I miss it and I soon hope to go. Therefore for now, I just have to wait. Hope your all well. And Happy Friday:).

Ps: My hair is shorter, I recently cut it. Its still long but a bit shorter. What do you think?

FIDM Fashion Show

I talked about my school here on the blog about me being the vice president of my school's FIDM Fashion Club. FIDM stands for Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising for the ones who dont know. Well, on March 17 FIDM fashion club members at my school got the chance to see the fashion show designed by fashion designer students at FIDM. All the collections were beyond amazing and I love every piece of the collections designed by the students. I had so much fun with my friends and cant wait to go see the show again next year. I hope to someday attend FIDM after graduating highschool and I dream to someday show a collection of mine for the Debut Fashion Show.

These earrings where from a garage sale that this old lady sold me for $.50. At first I wasn't really sure if I likes them but when she came over and talked to me, she was so sweet and nice that I couldn't resist and bought it. Now, I'm liking them more than ever.
I don't normally buy second hand jewelries because sometimes you never know where they came from and who wore them. So when I actually do buy second hand jewelry, what I do to clean it is rub it with alcohol.

Spring is near and Im in mixed emotions. Im not really a big warm weather person since I hate the heat, but I'll get over it somehow. Since the weather change is here, I was really excited to wear the straw hat. Im really into the big floppy hats and their something I will be wearing alot this spring/summer. Tomorrow, Im going to visit this place called San Juan Capistrano church. I went there a year ago and it was beautiful. I will be posting pictures as soon as I can. Have a great weekend! :)

I went to Santa Monica on a beautiful sunny day, and spent my time walking around the shopping area and had some time at the beach. For anyone who havent been there must go. The place wont disappoint you guys, live music, beautiful people, great shops, and above all the beach thats a street away. Wore this to school today. "Your all Indian today." That is what my friend told me about my outfit. Haha, then as always, every time I wear these boots, I always get the Indian word from them. They call it Indian boots. I suppose its a compliment since they say its cute. I was asked what size shoe I wear because my friends wanted to borrow them. Too bad Im an 8 and their a 7 or smaller.

This is how I look like going to school. Duffel bag for track and my D&G bag for school. The blouse was from my moms friend that use to be hers. I took it from a plastic bag full of clothes that she doesnt wear anymore. I love the color and the ruffles detailed on the blouse. Its one of those pieces that you can just pull from your closet and wear it on days you don't feel like dressing.

My necklace really doesnt show much here but its one of my favorite and I got it for free at a garage sale. It came with all these headbands that I didnt want, and I asked the lady how much the necklace without the headbands, she ended up giving it to me for free. Feathers has been my obsession lately and I wear this necklace almost every day.

And I cant believe this is only my second time wearing it adding one time from last year. I got the feather earrings from F21 for $1.50, what a steal! I always wanted one and Im so happy to find these. I will definitely get more feather jewelry, their my obsession lately.

Snow in California

Hello, hello! As you can see I had fun taking these pictures outside my house today while it was snowing. Where I live luckily it has been snowing every year since about 3 years ago. Though I didnt think snow would still come in January since the past years it has always been in early December. So today when it started snowing, I got very excited and took these photos after running some errands. And till now, its still pouring snow outside. I cant wait to wake up tomorrow and see snow everywhere. Snow in California is very rare so everyone gets excited and wastes no time playing in the snow.

Rain

It has been raining four days straight , and I love it! Its nice just relaxing at home, watching tv and going for a quick trip at the mall.
I have been wearing pieces of clothing that use to be my mom's in every wardrobe I wear in the last couple of weeks. Like the red cardigan Im wearing. Knit and my Doc Martens My mom gave me the knit sweater that Im completely in love with. I always wanted one that was big and loose, so when she gave me this I was more than happy. My Doc Martens? Im inlove!!!! My mom told me that my dad gave them to me a few years ago but she said that I had a disgust look on my face when I saw them. I didnt appreciate them years ago, but when I found these lately I went nuts and took them right away. So yes, I have to say I love my Doc Martens and Im thankful that they still fit me!

Lazy December

When I hear the quote "Time flies by", it really does. Its already December, the happiest time of the year. Im excited for the holidays and I look forward for a great year more to come.
The corduroy Im wearing use to be my mom's. I sewed it to my size which was a success. I love how one side of the pants have a pocket that's big enough to put anything in there.
